Awesome, I love this pattern, not to mention perspective, composition and there is something a little eerie (Big Brother-Esque?) about it. I'm a sucker for b/w though.

Amazing shot, Carolyn! Exactly where is that? I've driven all over the US but don't remember ever seeing anything quite like that. It really takes talent to be able to make something as inherently ugly as High Tension Wires into a work of art.

All the best,

Endre

A blot on the landscape but you've made something visually worthwhile out of them.

Thank you, Endre,
It is located in the town of Stanley not to far outside Santa Fe..population probably 50 and that might be reaching a bit. It is full of "Old structures" of days gone by...interesting place if you slow down and look around. The road is long and the temptation is to go fast.

There is something beautiful about a huge tower balanced on a single point. Good entry, Carolyn!

Hi John,
I really appreciate you kind and positive words. I have felt that it is an honor to win anything here since the talent is incredible and made me up my skills. This assignment looks like a tough one though...

Good eye, Carolyn. As others have said above, you have turned what many would consider to be an eyesore, into art.
