That's right, at 7:24 a.m. on the 4th of July this immature eagle fledged out of it's nest to join it's sibling whom left a day earlier. An awesome experience to behold. First shot is 10 seconds prior to takeoff.

Always awesome to see an eagle. The right place, the right time. Great for you Herb.

Ted

Thanks Ted, I'll catch you at the dam this fall maybe.

Thanks Noelle, actually I've been trying to catch the peregrine fledges from the palisades and shorebirds down at the shore, but I got sidetracked with these eagles as they were pretty close.
