I wanted to B&W this shot taken at Bodie Ca., but I just couldn't do it with all that great lighting and color the cloud cover was giving us. No filters used. 40D with 24-70mm f/2.8. Minor tweaks in PS. Enjoy

Beautiful lighting and colors indeed, Bill.
I can see the urge for a conversion, but I'm glad you gave us a color version.
Fine shot!

Bill

great capture really like the angle you composed this image at combined with the very nice lighting and background. I differ in that I would love to see a conversion maybe with Nik silver and the "High Structure" filter, just a thought, nice work here

I'll add a vote for being glad I got to see this one in color. There are some delightful contrasts here in the colors of this shot that beg to be displayed and look great here.

Nice shot Bill.

Hey Bill,

You got some wonderful color in this, no wonder you left it alone. Good work.

Wonderful sky! I think you might want to have the best of both worlds by posting a B&W version also...

Nice image and I can imagine how you had to resist the urge to make it b&w.

This color version is definitely VERY nice work. But I could see a BW version being equally impressive.

Nice image, Phil. I would also be in the group that would be interestedi in seeing this in b/w, as well. It would be nice to see how they compare.

Cheers,
Ed

Both great but it has so much more power as b&w, thanks for posting the conversion.
