It's nice to have a cooperative subject every now and then....in this case it was two cooperative subjects. A road runs between a lake and two Egrets fish on either side of it. They seem to have an understanding and stay out of each others way. Between boaters and photographers that like to roam ![]() 2. ![]() 3. Legless Egret. ![]() 4. ![]() 5. One of their favorite perches. ![]() 6. ![]() 7. ![]() 8. Have to throw this one in the mix. ![]() Thanks for looking. C&C welcomed. Duane |

yep, #7 is a beauty, just a tad tight on the bottom IMO. |

Nice stuff - 3 and 7 are killer, for me at least. Getting the right exposure on these critters has got to be tough. |

These are quite nice Duane. Simple and beautiful, just the right hue on that water in the BG and the light was your friend |

Thanks everyone for the replies. I muffed the camera settings on the in-flights and for some reason they were underexposed having bright morning light available. I was shooting at +1/3 EC and had to up the exposure in ACR by 70...introduced some noise in the process. |

All of these photos are EXCELLENT. They are a pure joy to look at. If I had to pick just one to have made into a wall hangar it would be #7. |
