I've been working on lighting and color. I know what I like in that reguard but thought I would get some comments from you guys who really know what they are doing. I have some headshots taken on the beach, a couple I worked with in pp and then a shot on the beach that I wanted in B&W but can't get the look just as I want. |

That shot is so over exposed that it's hard to do anything. But having been hanging around here for the past couple of years and lurking, I have managed to pick up a couple of pointers from the people who are really good. If you could get one of those guys/gals to make some of their adjustments, you might really be suprised what they can acomplish. Me, I'm just learning this stuff. |

I understand what you're saying. I took the color pic and did a minor levels and curves adjustment to get rid of the pink/megenta tone and then desaturated. Increased contrast and decreased brightness.... basicly undoing everything you were trying to accomplish. Wouldn't you know.. |

Ben.... don't know why I'm spending time on your stuff and should be doing my own. |
