Seriously, Charlie, you've got a nice shot here. I like the PP. Some will gripe about not see the eyes, but in this shot it adds to the overall feeling. Not exactly sinister, but close. Good detail with all that black.

Now Charlie how many times have I told you not to take a picture of mommy so early in the morning.
BTW great capture here Charlie really like the side profile and the facial expression, very nice. Have a great 4th

It's easy to see who has a "Mommy complex;" it's a male gorilla named Fred .
Pandacat- you're right about not seeing the eyes. Black fur, dark brown eyes that are deeply set in the skull.... you pretty much have to have the sun at your back and the beast looking right at you to see the eyes.

Brings to mind a song form The Simpsons...

See my vest, see my vest,
Made from real gorilla chest,
Feel this sweater, there's no better,
Than authentic Irish setter.

There's more, but I'll spare you!
Beautiful family shot, Charlie!

Tim- Uncle Fred told me to say "Thanks," although he wasn't too pleased about the Simpson song. He also asked if you bore any physical resemblance to the Michels from (previously) French Equatorial Africa. He had a brief "liaison" with one a while back. I told Fred to check some of your recent self-portraits and judge for himself. He might PM you later .
