I do a lot of cycling and I kept getting frustrated when I see great moments out there and have no camera!!

I already have a 5D, but I travel light on the bike and that was out of the question. I went out and got a Rebel XS and I'm using a Ziuko 50mm 1.8 lens. The combo is nice and small. I had a ski goggle case it fits perfectly in and I strap that to the h-bars.

Hope you like...

Nice shots Eric. You might want to set the onboard flash to -1/2 or-2/3 and pop it up the next time you run across a backlit situation like this one.

Thanks! fill flash is something I've been meaning to work on.

Good catch, and good job thinking ahead with the camera.

Nice find Eric, I like the third shot. I agree with Ron about a little fill flash and you might want to try bringing up the shadows slightly in PP. I hope you don't mind, I did a quicky edit to show you. I'll take it down if you want.

Thanks guys.

These little ones (there is another out at times) let people get real close. The first time I saw them, all I had was my camera phone and that was horrible. I vowed to be more prepared. Now I have to get some more practice in;-)

Very nice find and capture. I treat my camera like American Express, Never leave home without it!
