It's July and one that means in these parts is the Greenies should be back in the area that I normally kayak in. I have been looking for them since mid June because we have had warmer than normal temps. I thought that would bring them out but it hasn't. I headed out early this morning in search of them. On my way over to Greenietown I saw one fly over head, that was a good sign. I was lucky enough to spend a couple of hours with 2 of them although I did see 5 total. |

#3, #4, #6 and #7 are my picks here. The color and detail are amazing in the two Grebe images. I especially love the water color in #3. The juvi Greenies are cool with the hair-do. |
