Folks, I'm pretty sure that's a Long-billed Curlew in #4 and not a Whimbrel. The bill length and the pink underside of the bill near the head is one indicator. Also the feather pattern on the wings and back plus the buffy flanks and lack of dark crown stripes indicate a LBC. |
