Does Opanda not work in Firefox 3.5?

Prior to upgrading to 3.5 I am warned that Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant 1.0 will no longer be functional if I upgrade. What does this do and why should I care?

The latest version of Opanda (2.3) works fine in FF3.5

I've come to not care, Barry. It's disabled in my FF 3.5 and the browser is working just fine. Perhaps somebody who does care about the .Net Framework can explain the plug-in to us.

I istalled 2.3 earlier and it did not show up when I rt clicked on an image, but it has an icon on my desktop. That really doesn't do me much good.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanx,
Ron

Opanda must be installed on your computer and then you install the FF extension. See this page (about half way down) under "Opanda IExif 2.3 for Firefox Extension".

http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/download.htm

Also, not all images will display their EXIF... if the owner stripped that away during post-processing we'll not be able to view the data.

Hope this helps,

Greg

I thought that's what I did, but I guess not because when I tried to reinstall the ff extension, it did, and it worked.

This is what I use: http://ted.mielczarek.org/code/mozilla/fxif/

Works great, very simple and elegant (right click image and select "properties")

I'm using Exif Viewer: http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=Exif&cat=all

... and Opanda: http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/download.htm

follow instructions on page to get Firefox working with Opanda.

I also use fxif, which was mentioned above. It works well for me.

I am not sure what the problem is. For years when I view my images in PBASE.com, the exif works well.

I use fxif - I like the way it is integrated in.

I just had to go back to Firefox 3.011 because of increasingly frequent "Server Not Found" timeouts, which appears to be a common problem. Supposedly Mozilla are working feverishly to fix bugs and release 3.5.1.

I just upgraded to this (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addons/versions/3905) as the previous version wasn't FF3.5 compatible. I can now view EXIF info again.
