Let me start by saying that I'm not a wedding photographer (Senior portraits and sports, yes...but not weddings) mainly because I'm sick for days leading up to it. But, I know the bride well, did their engagement photos and she totally talked me into it. |

It's a beautiful image though I can definitely see your senior photo influence in the manner and pose of the image. |

in this case i actually like the hard light. it fits well with the portrait imo and no real detail is lost and no nasty looking shadows show. to each their own though. |

Thank you for the comments. I appreciate the suggestion, Evan. I really debated on that. Ultimately, I wanted the harder shadow for the dramatic effect. Wasn't sure how it would come out and this was it! I normally shoot through a 20x20 softbox but didn't for this one. |
