Thought I'd ask before wrecking a mirror.

Bought a Fotodiox M42 - EOS adapter for my Jupiter-9 and Industar-50. Figured I'd get the OM one while I was ordering. Been trying to find out whether the 50/1.8 is safe to use on a 1Ds II. I think it has more clearance than a 5D so if it works on a 5D I should be ok... but can only find info on the 50/1.4

Anyone with experience on this one?

OM lenses in general are safe on all EOS bodies.

Surprised at how nice the Tele-Lentar 135/2.8 is wide open...

I have an OM 50mm/1.8 and it clears both my 5d and eos 1n. actually, all the OM lenses I have purchased have had NO clearance issues.
