When I think of Connemara I think of all the stone walls around the pastures.
Nice photo. Was this taken in the far western part?

It's on the way to Achill Island (achill soul), on the north of Mayo county. Anyway we got some nice stone walls around pastures also

Nice. I love the symmetry with the tree and the mountain on the right.

I assume that waterway is Killary Harbour (Ireland's only fjord) and the mountain on the right is Mweelrea. I did a trip of the West coast of Ireland two years ago, Achill Island down to the Dingle Peninsula. It's hard to pick my favorite place of the trip, but I absolutely loved Connemara. It has diverse landscapes ranging from mountains, coastal beaches, bogland, rolling hills forests, pristine streams, etc. It is a landscape photographer's paradise.

Lovely view. I'd like to see this larger. You can post up to 800-900 p wide.

The full set is available on my website a bit larger . Those are only "souvenirs" pictures and perhaps to much "postcard" style. The "photographic" part of the travel are mainly nudes pictures, some will be posted on the "people photography" forum.

By the way we enjoyed the fresh air and the pub "craigh"
