Sure surprised that some of the battery distributors have yet to come up with a fully compatible battery for the 5DmkII yet. I guess the chip is hard to duplicate or else is expensive. I tried the link Fred listed and I guess they have sold out.

I just picked up a second battery from b&h... $71 including the shipping.

We've stretched a 5DmkII battery to about 900 shots.... no where near a 1DmkIII battery, but pretty good none the less.

After checking you can apparently find them through amazon now for $29.95

The one I got from ebay look identical, same brand, same printing, etc. I would still ask the reseller whether you get complete communication with the 5D2 before buying it.

I am really very happy with these, I get full communication with the 5D2, they charge on the original charger and allow 2000 shots in one charge with a 2sec display of the picture after shooting.

Update : I found another website that seem to carry them. Again this looks like the same (Maximal Power 7.4V 2000mAh Li-ion for Canon LP-E6)
