Thanks Dave and I hope so. Hey boy do I have a place for you and your green Heons as they and the GBH and the BCNH are invading the Trout hatchery every morning and I went in early the other day and saw quite a few scatter as I approached.

Very nice 4th of July shot, Lou. Happy Independence day to all. For some fireworks (not mine), go to http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/660757

Awhh Tom some how I get the feeling that you lost a good friend in this post. I guess we all face that if we have animals.
Thank you for posting it up and it is a fine tribute.

Thank you Lil and believe it or not, the eagle in this post is the male (banded X59 in 1996) and to the best of my knowledge is still around but with a different mate as I am sure after searching for almost 5 years for the two of them I could only find him twice and with a younger female in 2004. I am sure his original mate (banded N70 also in 1996) was never seen again and is dead. Their nest failed this year. But to cheer you up the State of New York had hit the 200 nesting pairs this year.

Thanks mabidally, hey would you like a Turkey added for a really true holiday, but you will have to get Congress to pass that
