Amazing sequence to catch with the ants and the spider. Ive seen a crab spider eating an ant but never the other way around. Superb stuff. |

all very nice shots but the Crab Spider series is excellent - I wouldn't have expected an ant to be able to attack and kill a Crab Spider. |

The ants have caught the spider mid-molting. The material that is tying the spider up is the spider's old skin. It literally can't get away from itself. |
