These are form my visit to Orange County week before last and my first experience with capturing the Common Tern. Photographing these birds is quite the thrill. The action is hot & heavy with many of these birds feeding constantly it often hard to stay focused on individuals. I had so much fun I went back again for the day last weekend to shoot the Skimmers. (I'll post some of those next time). These are taken with the 1D MkII & 500/4 IS, handheld, & combination of manual and aperture priority exposure. ![]() 2) ![]() 3) ![]() |
