Hi,

It looks like she is growing out of the grass...or half buried.

My Simple Suggestion: Avoid this POV.

Also: Avoid Tilt on a static subject.

She is growing out of the grass. She is a part of my garden

Why the tilt? Looks like a desperate attempt to get a "different" shot. Run out of ideas, perhaps?

I like the PP on this. The color and texture of the grass in particular looks great! What kind of light/flash was used?
I do however agree with the others on the POV and on the horizon.

I can't believe I am gonna agree with pilles, but oftentimes, people add "tilt" to generate more interest in an otherwise mediocre photo.

I love the post-processing, but agree also with Steady of the "half-body" commentary.

I don't mind the tilt so much...and I love the exposure. I think people here forget (because they see upmteen billions examples) that stuff like tilt and dare I say it, selective coloring, is really cool and unique to a lot of people.

Oh, I disagree. Not nearly as many as you would like to think in order to justify your opinion.

I know what you mean and I understand where you're coming from. I really do. It's just that I can think of about 50 women (with money) that would flip over a b+w of their kid holding a colored flower. My wife is one of them.

Most of the consumers I know aren't aware that a bunch of guys on FM deem that kind of stuff out of style and cliche. That's all I'm saying.

50 women?! That's a whole bridge club!
