Beautiful Tim. Looks like the lady isn't interested in the offering.

Hey, nice skimming shot. The water came out nice, especially with the wake.

Steve,
You're right about that the poor guy shadowed her for
awhile trying to present her with a treat

Thanks so much Lil,
Are you going to try to get some shooting in this holiday weekend?

Beautiful captures,Tim. I like #2 best. The male looks desperate while the female
gives him a cold shoulder.

Nice series Tim. Those skimmers never cease to amaze me. Imagine having that kind of reaction time - skimming fish the way they do. Wow.

Ohh Tim,
Your're really getting my juices flowing again seeing these marvelous images.
The first year Tern is real sweet; very nice exposure and wing position. The pair is truly elegant in that very nice vertical frame. Detail is very good here with focus on the baitfish nailed. Both Skimmer shots are top notch. Sweet reflection in the second one. Images of these guys like this are going to have me on a plane to OC sooner than planned man. I love watching those guys on the hunt. Great Job.

Time these are really beautiful!

I am glad you named the first one for me because i saw one of those in my bay and was not sure what kind of tern it was.

Love the courting flight as well as the skimmer...NICE!!

Pleasing trio Tim and a unique catch on #2 with a nice pairing of them. Last is cool as I like the twist on the tail and fact you can seen the skimming bill below the water too Have a great weekend!

Super shots TIm, especially #1 Love the way you framed it (composition I mean) and the way it is looking into the frame.

Cheers

Thanks Hide,
It's pretty cool to see them fly in formation the
way they do. You wonder why she's not taking the fish

Skimmers are fun to watch, I'm always hoping they catch a nice fish for a special photo op.
