And it does appear he has his eye on that gnat too Having shot these guys often and often with less of result I had hoped for I think your Beamer may be causing a bit of the contrast problem. Probably reading alot of reflected light off the white breast and cutting the exposure short. I do like the enhancements Dave brought out so I guess just a bit more pulled from PP work loosens them up. They are hard to resist that is for sure!

Hi Morris,
I was expecting to see a pic of just a gnat in flight and I was wondering what they looked like close up.
Very nice swallows you got here and I love the look in the eye of the swallow as it homes in on the gnat.

Tough call for me Morris, I would like to see more light on the darks if you know what I mean. 2 is better than 1 in that regard for me. I think 1 the flash my be too hot and in 2 you have it backed off better. I'm not one to talk, I'm still trying to figure flash out
