Does anyone know of a company that specializes in refillable ink cartridges and ink? I have a old Canon Pixma IP6000D pinter so do not really care if this ruins the printer using off brand ink. I mainly use it to print on regular paper just for text type stuff and general printing not for photos so looking for a cheap alternative to spending $12 everytime a color runs out.

I found this site that sell the ink
http://www.supertobuy.com/with-syringes-bulk-ink-refill-bottles-for-canon-pixma-ip6000-ip6000d-ip6600-ip6600d-ip6700-ip6700d-s800-s900-s820-s820d-s830d-i905d-i950-i960-i9100-cis-ciss-p-721.html

I then contacted them to ask if I could use empty canon cartridges, they said NO I needed special refillable ones. So after a search of the site seems they do not sell them for any Canon printers =(

I've looked on ebay but the only thing they seem to offer is a continuous flow system some thing like this
http://www.supertobuy.com/new-continuous-ink-system-for-canon-ip4200-ip4300-ip4500-ip5200-ip5200r-ip5300-mp510-mp530-mp800-mp830-mx850-mp600-mp610-ciss-cis-with-chips-p-749.html
where you have these ink bottles hooked up to your printer not really into that.

I'm just looking for something where I could take a single cartridge out and refill it with black ink and pop it back in.

So if anyone can point me to something would appreciate it.

if you want to do cheap printing for non-photo stuff I would suggest one of those inexpensive laser printers... you can get one for <$150 these days and your cost per sheet is like 2-3 cents
