I just got a new mac book pro and along with it CS4. I was playing with the new features in ACR and love them. Here are the first few shots I processed on my new MBP, let me know what you guys think! They're just some snapshots but I'd still like your C&C.

Really like the processing on all of them. I need to learn how to do that!

#1. Great composition and action!
#2. Don't like it. I don't know what's going on, guy in front overlaps guy in back, image is just not telling a story imho.
#3. Nice, skater is too centered, "stock" angle, get lower on that one and place him higher up in the frame maybe...

Good action shots overall. I like the processing technique you used; it wouldn't work with every subject or genre, but it works here.

I'd love to share,

For this I brought up the blacks, added some fill light, and turned that contrast to 100. Then I brought up the clarity, some vibrance and then desaturated considerably. Then in split toning I chose a yellow hue and added a little saturation on the hilights. In camera calibration I tinted the shadows a little bit purple. Then I added some graduated filters on the tops and bottoms accordingly and dodged and burned in photoshop. Thats about it.

These don't mean anything without a story to go with them. Then they would relate.
