I sent out this email

"I have a Velbon El carmagne 530 Tripod which the foam on 2 of the legs has cracked and fallen off.I bought the tripod about 5 years ago from B + H and its worked great.Not sure why the foam cracked as I keep it in its case all the time.
Would it be possible to get new foam for the legs and how is it put on ?"

Why not just go to your local home center and look at pipe insulation? They usually come in 8 foot lengths and of several type of foam. Runs just a few dollars.

I second the sarge. Take the tripod with you to check the size. May have to do some 'splainin at the entrance. Some seem to like the padded tape for bicycle handlebars.
