Look what came into our garden today
we made a new pond last year especially for dragonflies so was made up when we saw this

40D plus sigma 150
I find it difficult to get good out of focus backgrounds with dragonflies. I guess its because the lens is further from the subject

Thanks Phil
all F10 except 3 which was F8, guess I could try larger apetures which would help to blur the background a bit

Very nice shots, Pete. Try opening up the aperture to get more OOF backgrounds.
