ZUIKO DIGITAL 25mm 1:2.8 Pancake mounted on 5D?
Is that a possibility, worth looking into or not, how, and which results can be obtained.
Will the 25mm be like 25mm on the 5D or ...?
Tempted by a good offer and compact solution and wide(?) possibility.

I am a novice, so please have patience.
:-)

It would not even come close to covering the format even if it could be mounted. 25mm is always 25mm but this lens is designed for the much smaller sensors of 4/3rds format.

Not to mention that you don't get aperture or focus control as they're both purely electronic (It's a focus-by-wire lens). And since the register of 4/3rds mount is 38.67mm, you wouldn't even be able to do a mount adaptation to EF's 44mm register.

It's also just not that good a lens, although it might do better on a lower pixel-density body than it does on the high pixel density of my G1.

Look at the Voigtlander 20/3.5 SLII pancake instead. Nikon or Pentax mount manual focus FF lens, about 3mm longer than the ZD25.
