We were around for some evening light at Corral Lake trying to capture the golden light. The sun had already went behind the hill behind us at this point.

Thanks

JBR

1, 2, and 3 are Corral lake.

Hey John,

While most of the shots in this series have been pretty nice, what I felt that most of them have been missing is the foreground anchor. And in #2, you nailed it spectacularly! Skies with no detail usually don't work, but your processing in #2, makes that sky look perfect for the shot. Good work!

Really think #2 is the stand out, well captured.

Hello John, stark and barren and effective. Good use of the subtle light

Jim - Thanks. I came across this scene and knew there this would be a good FG. There were actually lots of plants around this area. This seemed to be the only one that really worked. Thanks for the comments. I'm glad you like it.

Whayne - Thanks for looking. I'm happy you enjoyed it.

Hugh - I tried to convey the desert feel in these. I'm glad it worked for you.

dseidman - Thanks for looking and the kind comment!

John

Another mighty nice series you really got the processing down very nicely really like the angle and perspective you have captured in this series. #2 really stands out with the gorgeous foreground. Great job on these

Thanks Ray!

I found the desert is a little harder to shoot than anticipated. Thanks for looking!
