Purchased as a mate to a 24-105 for my 50D. I found a 17-55 that is just terrific, so it sort of makes this lens superfluous. I needed it a lot for the wide with the 24-105, but I find it less important now that I have 17mm on my main lens. I'd rather have the funds for something longer (any 70-200 f/4 IS out there?).
The lens is perfect and includes UV filter and hood (new, third party, but really nice).
In Canon original box with blank USA warranty card.
