A tree stands where its fallen comrade once stood. Taken around midday in harsh light and extreme winds with some drizzle. Hard to believe that to our back was some very nasty weather.

Very cool! I love that in your face foreground fallen tree. You might have shot this in harsh light, but it doesn't look like it. You did a great job on the shooting and processing here.

The contrast is high, but the comp and colour are so nice it doesn't take too much away. I would also love to see a B&W version though, as that will work really well with high contrast scene.

I think the comp is very good and works well, but the lighting too harsh. Would love to see it under ideal lighting.
