I have had this lens for months, just never really got it out to play with it for any length of time. I find it tricky to focus accurately, but when done right, it's actually not bad.

This shot is at f/2.8. For me it has no purpose other than being used at 2.8, since I have a 70-200 F4L that I like just fine for F4 and smaller apertures.

At 2.8 the sharpness is good enough - and the background blur is, well, blurry enough that the QUALITY of the bokeh doesn't seem to be an issue - the background becomes total mush!

The only thing I find to dislike is the wicked CA. Unfortunately I don't have a RAW converter that can handle this (wish I'd gotten the Pro version of Capture One) so for now, it'll stay - doesn't bother me that much.

Glad you like your lens. But, wouldn't just about any 135/2.8 give you the same background in this shot?

True enough - then again, I don't have any other 2.8 lenses that cover this focal length- so I guess I"m just plain happy that I have a usable lens with this aperture/focal length combination. It's also pretty compact as well... so maybe I'll use it more from now on.

Thanks
