What a great weekend, other than it being hotter than sin!
Awesome racing & a great track.

Hey Ryan... very fancy borders... They look good.

Jeeze the event didn't look very well attended, was it televised? I hope the fan base builds, its a great event.

Thanks. It was just too hot. The races will air on the Speed Network in a few races. The Goodyear blimp was there filming from above.

Nice work Ryan. I have a brother in San Diego and I keep telling him he needs to go see this racing.

Is it easy to get a place to shoot? I really do not know to much about off road racing but it looks pretty fun to shoot. I am in san clemente so it would not be a long trec and I would love to give it a try some time. Was this a loupe course?

Not without a media pass, there is a catch fence that blocks most of the clear shots from the track. The fence has pretty large openings, so I was able to shoot through it with a wide aperture when I had to but the angle wasn't great.

The shortcourse venues are more restrictive than desert racing due to the safety factor. It's pretty crazy sometimes out on the track. Nice shots Ryan.
