I put on this Marilyn Monroe wig to channel my inner Marilyn; but I wound up looking like Greta Garbo at 80. I should demand a refund on the wig. .... Been really busy for quite a while, but always check in on the WA-- seen some great shots these past months!

I tried other wigs and looks for fun. See:

You mean that's not how you normally dress to go out on the town?

Bev, it's hopeless to try to compete with this.

Fond regards,

Endre

Endre.... I wear my Dolly Parton wig when I go out on the town.
Thanks for the compliment, but you are serious competition and I'm not holding my breath to try to beat YOU. ;-)

Thanks, Steve! You've had some gorgeous photos of your daughter in the WA, btw. What a cutie!!

I'd been meaning to do a fun photo shoot using myself as the model. This week's WA inspired me to go ahead and do it. See: http://www.beverlyguhl.com/bevparody/index.html to see these images larger. The last one is the real me, though I don't wear any of this stuff normally!

Thanks, Bill! It takes guts to make yourself look this bad or weird I have to say. I did several different looks and settled on Garbo, but you can see the others at the link I added in this thread.

Thanks, Carolyn! Was a fun shoot. Never realized how hot wigs, makeup and boas were though, and I wasn't using hot lights either. Best to you.

Fantastic Bev ! Very pro and fun results. I like them all very much but your choice has a little something more. The retro look maybe.
Three thumbs up

This is hilarious! Of the eight images, I also like the top left (first) image a lot, it sure looks like you had some fun doing this assignment

You are really brave. I have trouble looking at my own mug, but you - you obviously had a blast, and ran with the idea. All of them are really good, and you covered such a range. Like Jouko - I like the "Punk" one a lot! Well done!
