This was a pretty basic shot, but I edited it with Adobe Lightroom 2.3

I have a special inkling of getting shots with higher contrast and deep colors. What do you think?

It's a little too dark for me. The first thing my eyes notice is the lighter blue sky in the horizon which clearly isn't your subject. The entire photo almost looks like a vignette over the lighter blue sky. Maybe you could lighten it up a bit and make the colors pop out a little more?

Nice shot.
The blues look a bit unnatural and the saturation is a bit too high for me. But there is incredible depth in the sky with excellent contrast. Overall I think its quite good, but I only saw a small sized image.

yes i might have overdone the blues. but it looks better in the bigger picture. this is my 2nd week with working with Adobe Lightroom so hopefully I improve
