The lens is in mint condition: no scratches, marks, dust, etc. I am selling because I needed a little bit more reach, and just bought a 100-400mm L lens. The lens comes with its original box, and Canon lens hood. I've had the lens for a couple of years. There's no date stamp on this lens, as far as I can tell (do only L lenses have date stamps?)

Asking $800 net to me, paid through Paypal, with USPS priority mail shipping paid by buyer. At that price, I'm willing to throw in a Moose's 58mm Warm(81a) circular polarizer for this lens. CONUS only, please.

This is my first time selling on FM, and I have only one FM feedback so far. However, feel free to check my feedback on Ebay (100% positive). My ebay user name is aboulenein.

Here's a link to some photos of the lens:

Is the IQ of this lens better than the IS 70-300 non-DO?

See here---> ;http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/397663-USA/Canon_0345B002_70_300mm_f_4_5_6_EF_IS.html

I have the linked lens above, but am curious if the DO is better build and IQ.

I may be interested.

I've been extremely happy with the build quality of the lens. Personally, I've also been equally happy with the image quality of the lens. However, IQ can be quite subjective, so I can email you a couple of sample pictures taken wide open at 70mm and 300mm, and let you decide for yourself. PM me your email address, if you'd like me to send you the photos.

BTW, I've never owned the IS 70-300 non-DO lens, so other than what can be found on the web about it, I don't have a whole lot to say about it.

I wish I could get this lens right now, but unfortunately, I would have to unload my current one to defray the cost, plus some cash. Thanks for the reply.
