The lens is in mint condition: no scratches, marks, dust, etc. I am selling because I needed a little bit more reach, and just bought a 100-400mm L lens. The lens comes with its original box, and Canon lens hood. I've had the lens for a couple of years. There's no date stamp on this lens, as far as I can tell (do only L lenses have date stamps?) |

Is the IQ of this lens better than the IS 70-300 non-DO? |

I've been extremely happy with the build quality of the lens. Personally, I've also been equally happy with the image quality of the lens. However, IQ can be quite subjective, so I can email you a couple of sample pictures taken wide open at 70mm and 300mm, and let you decide for yourself. PM me your email address, if you'd like me to send you the photos. |
