Feel my entry is blown out of the water by some of the competition, some amazing shots out there this week.

Still some daylight left so might try a few things....just wanted to get my foot in the door.

The petunia up close and personal.
You did a good job highlighting all the details of the petunia. I never noticed the star shape before. The inner vein things seem kinda dark.

You have captured this petunia very nicely. A very nice entry.

Yes the inner vein is quite dark, even in real life, but I think I might be able to recover some more detail.

The color and lighting are very dramatic, the image "captures" you. Nicely done
