Have been so busy this last couple of weeks I just haven't had time to shoot for the WAs, determined to try and get one in this week I've pinched a little time out to take the following shot. Would have liked to have some more time to work on composition and some other ideas with it but unfortunately my time has run out.

Good luck all.

Hi Mark,

Very nice lighting and I really like the simplicity of the shot. Nice entry.

I agree: the lighting is fantastic, although I am not too keen in the color/shape of the vase, that I find a bit distracting and in contradiction with the overall simplicity of the shot.

Thanks for the lovely comments

Regarding the vase unfortunately it was the only thing I had at hand as I broke our beautiful little glass bowl vase a couple of days ago

Good luck everyone

I loved this shot as soon as I saw it. The simplicity of it, especially the choice of flowers is very nice.

Technically it is the best one here. Mastery of light? Simply superb. A perfect example of "Still life". Kudos.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.
