Playing with some Infrared Photography. I shot infrared all afternoon with the date on my camera set to 2008 I was unable to submit my favorite of that group.
I went out and tried again with the date set properly and here is what I came up with.

Hmmm.... I'm generally not a fan of infrared so don't take my opinion for anything but it just seems rather pale and washed out to me. That's what infrared does, though, which is why I'm not fond of it. Otherwise, Patty, it is a nice shot.

All best wishes and welcome back after a long while,

Endre

Hi Patty,

I will have to disagree with my friend Endre, I think with the right subject infrared can give an ordinary object a real high key pop and that is just what I think you have done here. A great subject and lighting for IR. Really nice entry.

Thanks Endre and Steve!
I guess IR is a matter of taste. There are so many incredible entries this week that I tried to do something a little different

Hi Patty! I really like your image, BECAUSE it's a lot different than the others. The roses look like they're made of porcelain or linen, which I think is interesting.
