With all the rain here in Colorado this spring its been a record year for wildflowers.

Wow that's a lot of color for Colorado, which is usually pretty arid. The river looks muddy and high.

Yep the river runoff has been pretty high. Its starting to go down now though.

Very lovely setting and the flowers are gorgeous. I am not bothered by the water at all--you have blurred it nicely. High water and spring flowers go together in my book. Terrific entry.

Love this! Makes me wish I could sit there and watch the water flow...surrounded by those gorgeous purple flowers. When an image causes emotion...it's a winner. This one is certainly in that category.
