I love the subject isolation you have achieved with this shot. It is a great entry, but I agree with Carol about the crop. I think it would make it notably stronger.

I like the empty space, it emphasizes the idea of being deserted after it started losing the petals

Nice macro. Love looking at small things from a different perspective.

Thanks for the comments. I actually do have the shots where the flower is not in the center, but I like this one better. It just makes sense for me to have it center
