I like the close-up and the composition, but I think it would be helped by a greater DOF. I'd like to see more of it in focus - especially that top part closest to the viewer.

Hi Laura,

I love the colors and this is a great idea, but I agree with Carol about the greater depth of field. I would like to see the pistil or stamen or both in clear focus. But that is just my taste, it is an interesting abstract as is.

Hi guys, thanks very much for looking and your input!

Yes, I wonder what it would look like with some more DOF as well. This was what I managed to get handheld, before the light disappeared, and before I could see if my tripod would fit the camera position. I'll take the abstract route on this one!
