This is actually pretty good! If you crank the contrast a tad, then it would remove some of the "flatness".

As for the subject...

When I first heard about HDR I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Not so much anymore. I think it rarely works. This needs more contrast and I bet the 0 EV shot probably looked more realistic and interesting. Not bad for hand held though.

I agree with your sentiment... lame. The image isn't a great one to begin with, and the HDR sucks any interesting contrast it may have had out of it. And what's the deal with the fuzziness? It almost looks like you HDR'ed two images that were not quite in register.

I was just playing....This was hand held, so some fuzziness is to be expected.
Actually, if you look at the original middle ev, the sky was blown and there was no detail in the grass... It actually had a fair amount of DR in the scene. I had just picked up the new toy...and had just read about HDR, so I was having some fun.

I'll not post again until I have one worthy...
