Yes, I know that most of what's written in "The Da Vinci Code" is not hardcore scientific facts but nevertheless, it is very well written but what's more important, it gave rise to heightened interest in history all over the world.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

For this specific sot I deliberately avoided this. I thought that the lines would be less obvious.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

Dear friends, thank you very much for your compliments. I'm touched.

BTW, this is not a crop, though it was shot with a cropped camera (40D). Does it make it a FF crop shot?

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

This makes a very nice "abstract" flower shot, nicely done Yakim

Much obliged. Indeed I got so close in order to achieve some abstract "flavor".

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

Hi Yakim,

Lovely close-up of this rose. The ripples are great. Very nice entry.

Hi Yakim,
Really love this one....the rose becomes something more than just 'a flower' with this image. Great color, and I like the close crop.

Love the composition. The cropping is perfect and provides distinction from the "whole" flower shots posted this WA.

One of the reasons I like macro so much is the ability to put things out of context and give the pic an abstract touch/feel. I'm glad that you both noticed it and liked it.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.
