A-Ha! Two at the price of one. The bud and the flower. I like it. A lot. Though I suspect I'd like the original pic (before PP) even better.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

Very interesting shot. I like the light, and that she's holding the flower out to the viewer.
However, I don't think that the photoshop filter adds anything to it.. in fact, is a bit distracting.
May we see it without the filter?
Regards!

Hi,

I agree with Carol. It is a lovely image, but I think it would be much better without the filter.

PS filtering done to disguise the fact that I'm shooting with iPone instead of Nikon. :-P I know I'll never stand a chance here if they know it wasn't shot with $5000+ of equipment. ;-)

Although, after all the iPones I've gone through it's getting closer to $5k worth!

I think I'd still add the vignetting dodging even if I'd shot it with the D300. I'm on the road, but I'll see if I can get the original shot up for y'all. Here:

I prefer the original pic to the processed one, though maybe another type of process might work better. Not that I know anything about it. I'm completely PS illiterate.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

I agree with the guys...the original has a winsome, innocent mood to it, that the PP takes away....in MHO. She's a lovely child, BTW.

The PP is nice, but I too would like to see the original. Nice shot.
