Very pleasing capture Norm! The color and the composition are beautiful.

Lovely shot, Norm! You certainly have a knack for flowers. My only minor critique may be more to do with the small size of the photo and the way my computer reproduces the images -namely that there are areas of the flowers that look blown out on my monitor. I'm sure there is detail to be seen in those areas but they just aren't showing up. In any case it is a minor thing and the overall image is great!

Hi Norm,

Very lovely peonies. You have captured them well. For my tastes I would like a little softer light. If they are still in bloom taking a similar shot about an hour or two at the most before sunset should give you softer light, but that is just my tastes.
