B&H has a listing for a Canon EOS 60D water housing. Can the 60D be far behind? Or is this just a typo at B&H

I would assume that it's a typo because in order for a 3rd party to design & build a housing they'd need a body to work with.

How is your Italian?

"Occorre avere la macchina fotografica in sede"
= 'We must have the camera at home' [google]

Probably a typo but if Canon stick to their update cycle, 60D should be announced sometime in August.

Considering the first page has a Nikon camera (you can see the red stripe near the shutter) and the third picture has a Rebel body, it's safe to assume that "60D" is indicative of squat.

But I suspect it's a typo. The housing pictured has a Nikon inside of it.

And looking at the specs shows it's rated to -60 meters.

My translation is a bit literal... I really only speak English and Spanish, but I dabble with Italian. 'In sede' can be 'in the office / headquarters', or it can also mean 'available' givne the right context.... probably would be what it means to say here.

It is needed to have the photographic machine available

Or in other words... 'not available'

It's probably for the Canon D60. You know, that digital body before the 10D.

Underwater housing follow the release of the body by months, at least. Typo.

If you look at their (the underwater housing maker's) site it says it is for the 60d, but it also has an * which indicates "We need camera for adjust housing." So it is probably just a 50D housing, and once you send in your 60D after its release they will make adjustments so it fits.
