I was lucky enough to be in Sydney last week for the start of the Vivid Festival. Part of the festival involved lighting the sails of the Sydney Opera House with images designed by Brian Eno. I saw the opera house on Sunday night it really is spectacular and hope they extend it. I didn't have my tripod with me and was very windy but a good low vantage point is near the southern pylon. I think they should have this on every weekend rather than just this two week block. It truly looks awesome. Whoever it was that orchestrated it all is pretty smart. |

Thanks everyone for your comments. The thing I like about this sort of photography is that even a rank amateur like me can get some good shots with a tripod and a good vantage point. |
