This photo was snapped while walking around downtown Calgary. In recent years geese have invaded the downtown, and walk fearlessly among people and traffic.

Walking up to a crosswalk on Stephen Ave. I noticed this goose standing about 6 feet to my left waiting for the traffic light to change. It patiently waited for the traffic to come to a stop, then waddled to the other side with me. It`s almost as if they've learned traffic laws. .

Did you manage to get a shot of the goose waiting?

I like it, but I wonder what it would look like if you got a shot of the goose walking towards you with the "go" or "walk" sign in the background.

Your words are a nice setup, but in the words of my harsh high school English prof. "Don't tell me, show me."

Overall though I like it and I think you did a good job.

Please take my words with a grain of salt as I readily admit I have no talent.

I do have that photo as well.
But it really doesn't work as well as this.

Little fella looks like he wants to cross diagonally.
And he doesn't want to wait for the signal either.

Thanks for posting.

This is a street closed off to traffic. So the middle of the street is still technically a crosswalk.
