Does anyone know where I can find a solid comparison of these two bags? I can find decent reviews of each, and photos of each, but not a single side-by-side comparison. I can't find them locally, either, so comparing them myself isn't exactly trivial.

Here's the situation: I've got two cross-country flights coming up and need to take all of my gear in a single carry-on that doesn't destroy my shoulder. I could adjust my 7MDH to fit everything, but it would be a really tight fit and I'd rather not have that sort of weight rest on one shoulder throughout the airport.

Gear:
- 15" MacBook Pro w/ power adapter
- Canon 50D w/ 24-70, 70-200 2.8, 10-22, 50 1.4, hoods, and a 480EX.
- Various A/V cables, USB cables, etc.

I might also be packing my wife's Rebel XT and 17-85 lens.

The Whickey and Cox seems like it would be "big enough", but it seems like all of this would be a tight fit. The Karachi Outpost almost looks like it would fit everything a bit more comfortably, but still be a bit snug.

I'd want a single slot to hold the 24-70 w/ hood OR the 70-200 w/ reversed hood, plus another slot to hold the 50D with whichever lens isn't in that slot. I'd want to be have dedicated slots for the 50 and 10-22, plus a dedicated spot for the cables and other assortment of crap.

I'd probably ditch the provided laptop sleeve (which looks quite bulky) in favor of the neoprene sleeve that I already have and love. This will cut some bulk out of the bag, but also give me a little bit more wiggle room in how I load my gear.

If you have both of these bags, and the gear described above (or something similar), I'd be really grateful for some side-by-side comparisons of these bags. If you know of a site online with a similar comparison, that would be great.

You might also consider Think Tank airport bags if you have the money. They're specifically designed for transporting photo gear as carry-on (http://www.thinktankphoto.com/). Also check out photo-specific backpakcs by F-Stop and Dakine.

I did look at cambags, but I still can't visualize the two bags next to one-another. Thanks for the links.

Just a quick note: I went with the smaller bag (Whickey and Cox), since it would be easier to fit into the carry-on compartments on a plane.
