hey all,

I seem to remember seeing somewhere that the new DPP software that will come with the 1D-II will allow you to open jpeg images shot with the camera and adjust the WB/Kelvin Temp as if it was RAW.
Is that true or was I dreaming it

Kurt,

I sat through two different demos of DPP at the WPPI show last week in Vegas and don't remember them making a point about adjusting WB/temp in JPEG's. Of course, I was probably distracted by the nicely designed apply and add "recipes" feature as part of batch processing

Thanks Ned.

I thought I read that somewhere over at Rob's site.

Maybe I was just wishing it !!
Although I only shoot RAW anyway.
Hope HD prices keep dropping as the 1D-II's will fill em up fast.

What we need is a drop in CF card prices.. And a temp job with AP.

I agree with the CF comment.but you don't want to shoot for the AP.

I did years ago and it was fun, but NOW you sign over your © when you shoot for them.
You get paid for the job at hand and the images are thiers........

as a staffer you expect that, but even freelancers are screwed now.
