Ohh please dont make my power switch like that, having an option past the off setting woudl be a night mare for turning the camera on and off without looking at the thign.
its a photoshop trick!

agree, while puting it in the bag and finnally turning it off later without seeing anything, actually is it easy, push it full, but having second option behind would sucks. better make it off/on/hd instead of off/on/beep actually (who use beep mode anyway )

Well done if it is a fake... Hit's some hot buttons with its "ML" Button etc...

It's in too low a resolution picture for my Photoshop skills to pick up the normal misaligned letters etc.

Howwever after looking for a while at between 200% and 400% I have some significant cumulinative concerns though as:
• The buttons below the back LCD are unevenly spaced - not a normal Canon design thing
• The three ML, Trash and HD Buttons look very similar down to the same purple green blotch on the right side and while reflection in the centre (pixel differences could be due to offset images and down sampling)
• The INFO button is gone and this is a really useful part of Canon's new IU hard to see what would replace this.
• The HD switch AND button does not make sense - one or the other but why both.

So I suspect a good photoshop job done at high resolution and then down sampled to 500 x 500 to hide most editing artifacts. Be nice it it was real... But Just doesn't seem right...

Whatever, because Nikon D3X is better than 1DsMK3, Canon must retaliate. So yes, Canon will come up with something very, very soon. Not sure of the name though.

Nikon will then hit back, not to come up with some better than 1DsMK3's replacement but probably a scaled-down version of a 24MP FF that will beat the 5DMK2.

HD is for "Heads-up Display"

So what's your point? Do you really expect Canon or Nikon to stop releasing new bodies or to stop competing? Every manufacturer in every industry competes with every other by continually releasing new models, whether it be computers, cars, TV's, toothbrushes, or any other product you can think of.

Or "Heads Up! It's a Fake!"

The letting on the HD button looks /terrible/. Also, why put the HD button there? The way the 5D2 switches into HD is far more intuitive. I'm saying Fanboyism on this "leak" I'm afraid.

No way would Canon add a Mirror Lock Up button.

Where's the direct print button? I get a lot of use out of that feature.

Might just be a design prototype. The AF-on buttons appear to be in different fonts.

When I read the title, I just assumed that the mark IV was leaking oil or something. Let's hope the 1DIV is not the Daewoo of cameras like the mkIII was.

Ahem.... I'm sorry, but that's not a reliable way to judge this.. Canon over the last several years has adopted new engineering specifications. Terms such as precision, accurate, correct, and reliable are all "just so out dated" at Canon.

Their engineers now use terms such as "move that over a little", "close enough", "who's gonna know?" and "looks good to me; ship it". These, to illustrate a few, represent Canon's modern terminology.

Remind me to invest in Nikon..

Canon's new flagship....
