Mega flare!
19mm elmarit on 5D, with polarising filter.

Sorry if the sky looks a little funny, this is a blend of 4 exposures each two stops apart... could probably have gotten away with 3.

Fun thread, some great shots everyone.

These are borderline flare.. a bit more defocus. Shot with the Rokkor 58mm f1.2

Ahem sorry for dragging this back up . . .

I never got a chance to add to this and with my new
Zuiko 21mm 3.5 I happened to catch some lovely flare
this morning.

Im sure people have some new glass over the last while
and can add to this again?

Pravda sucks actually.

But that's a nice shot of Wellington. Incidently, I broke my foot in Feb, not far from where you took this shot.

oh. i've never been but walking by on thanksgiving sunday night, it seemed to be pretty happening, which relative to everything else that night was not hard to do. it's clientel seemed pretentious, i figure it'd be a great place to have the vodka flow like water and then have something memorable happen.

that shot was totally coincidental. there were some girls in short skirts walking in the door (it was probably 5 degrees out) and then taxi drove by. thanks about the shot. what happened to your foot?

Yeah. Pravda caters to the crowd with more money than brains, who don't balk at paying $10 for a Smirnoff. For what it's worth, Hernandos next door is pretty good. Reservoir Lounge is next to them, and well... they have a long standing history of being a great Jazz club. Some day I'll go there.

What happened to my foot? I didn't look all three ways when crossing the road. Left, Right and Down. I stepped in a pothole and rolled my foot. I've been joking since about looking all three ways (which you should do regardless of where you are in the city), but for Wellington, you only need to look 2 ways. Left (or Right if you're coming from the south side) and Down.

This is definitely a cute shot. Loving the skeletal angel wings.

5D + Rokkor 58/1.2.
Red rings above the light and a secondary green flare on her bottom.
She's a good guitar player but I don't know if she's THAT good.
